Almost finished!

Hi everyone.
This is just a quick blog. I had my language assessment yesterday. It was difficult but definitely better than my mid assessment. We have to reach intermediate mid to pass, and if not we come back and take it again in a few months. I feel like Im at the same level that I was in Africa when I took the test… which was Intermediate Low… which was what we needed there. I have a tutor already lined up at site (one of the LCF’s who lives in Shaki) We finish this week with technical classes, swear in on Thursday (Im so excited) and then go to site on Friday.
PST was at times stressful and occasionally overwhelming (mostly around language) but I really enjoyed PST. (I know, everyone who has been through this thinks Im crazy, but I have never denied thatJ) Peace Corps did a really terrific job. The staff is caring and wonderful. Thanks Peace Corps.
This week we are wrapping up and swearing in at a 5 star hotel in the country. (or so ive been told) It’s the hotel Europa. Maybe they have a web site? Next weekend, after I get to site I will tell you about the assessment, swearing in and moving… hopefully with pictures.

Happy Holidays!!
Merrill
